Before jumping to the patterns list, I just want to pay a little tribute to all mothers out there. Being myself a mom of two young boys, some days (every day? ) I feel overwhelmed by all the feelings that come with motherhood, and the difficulty to balance everything. Family time, couple time, kids time, me-time, work, social life, health and sport time. Funny that I put this one last, since this is clearly the one I’m sacrificing the most at the moment! I guess that’s the part where blogging is a good therapy, but I won’t annoy you longer with that!!! I just wanted to say that mothers are doing the most important and difficult job in the world, and as much as society is evolving, mothers rock. Every day.
So I’ve selected the patterns out there that I would personally love to receive (but that’s not going to happen anytime soon considering my boys are 1yo and 3yo!), or that I would make for my mom.
This adorable heart shape cactus by my friend Julia from Little World of Whimsy is just a hit! It’s just too cute, quick to make, beginner friendly, it has it all!
While at greenery, how cute is that leaf bookmark! So quick and easy to make, useful and a pretty decoration, it’s the kind of small details that make me smile every day when I see them. Discreet and elegant.
I need to stop using the word “adorable” but honestly what else comes to your mind when you see this! Quick, easy, simple, fresh and joyful, this tulip pen topper is just too cute. My mom would love it, she loves tulips.
This cute elephant ami is made in no time, and it makes an adorable (again!!!!) desk companion, or you could make it as a keychain. Careful, this is the kind of amigurumi for which you want to try every color…
This guy spreads love and kisses swimming around! Play with the colors, add a little loop to hang it on a desk lamp or on the car rear view mirror! Add a stick and put it in a jar with some coral decoration, it will make a cool aquarium.
This snail guy carrying hearts has an irresistible expression with his eyes! This pattern even has a video tutorial on Youtube, perfect for beginners!
What a lovely and thoughtful way to deliver a love message to your mom, or to insert a gift card! Beginner friendly, wow-effect, you can even add messages all year long to make it last. Simple and elegant.
This one is a bit more advanced, but I could not NOT insert it, this hedgehog just melt my heart.
Perfect desk decoration from Spring to the end of Summer, this little bouquet is so cute. I warn you, there is a high risk you might want to keep it for yourself!
Another genius design for a lovely crochet hanging planter. Cosy and elegant, make your own style by simply playing with yarn colors and textures, this is a 100% guaranteed success gift.
