You can find two different products: the first one is for the toy set, including the three clownfish and coral. The second is the baby mobile version, including additional instructions for the mobile assembly and the bubbles pattern.
CLOWNFISH TOY SET AMIGURUMI PATTERN
MATERIAL
- 2.5mm crochet hook / US C-2
- Yarn:
- DMC Happy cotton: shades 788 (yellow) 2 balls of 20gr, 786 (electric blue), 761 (off-white), 754 (pinkish red), 750 (blue petrol), 755 (fushia), 753 (orange), 780 (green)
- Rico Design Creative Lamé Gold
- DMC Cotton Perle N°8 shade 310 (black) to embroider the smile
- Tapestry needle
- Fiberfill
- Stitch marker or a strand of thinner yarn
- 3 pairs of 8mm safety eyes (see safety warning below)
- Ball point pins for assembly
If you are planning on making the baby mobile you’ll need additionally:
- Decorative thread (3,5m / 138″)
- A wooden/bamboo ring of 20cm (7,8″) diameter (or embroidery hoop)

This pattern uses US terms abbreviations.
GAUGE AND SIZE
Gauge for the clownfish with the above material (2.5mm hook): 5-round circle = 4cm (1.6″). Find out how to measure gauge for amigurumis in my tutorial here.
With the material mentioned above and when gauge is achieved:
- All three clownfish are about 10cm long (4″)
- The coral is 7cm diameter (2.8″)
